HOUSTON, TEXAS – Primary Arms Optics is proud to announce the hiring of Scott Tirman as the new Director of Optic Sales. A Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Scott brings extensive industry experience in the tactical goods market.
Formerly, Scott served as CFO and Vice President of Operations at Steyr Arms in Bessemer, Alabama, spearheading strategic leadership to increase top line revenue by 140% in just three years. As a Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt, Scott was also responsible for improving operational productivity while reducing raw materials inventory by 40% with a 15% reduction in overhead.
Scott later joined Versacarry as a strategic leader, implementing new production policies and guidelines that reduced inventory costs and overhead. His work, along with the work of his team, directly increased commercial sales revenue by 15% in only six months.
As Director of Sales for Primary Arms Optics, Scott will leverage his business and industry experience to accelerate the reach and continued growth of the Houston-based optics brand. With over 40 new products released this year alone, Primary Arms Optics has differentiated itself as a major innovator in the optics market, and Scott’s leadership will help amplify this message.
