Warranty information

view FAQS

Beginning with products purchased on or after January 1, 2021, all Primary Arms branded optics, mounts and accessories are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.  You do not have to be the first owner or even prove you bought it from us. Manufacturer defects, materials and workmanship problems, and even normal wear and tear are covered. Open box, blemished, or refurbished items with a lifetime warranty enjoy the same warranty protection as their new counterparts. Where repair or replacement for these products is not possible, credit will be given towards a new Primary Arms product.

For products purchased before January 1, 2021, a specific group of products are covered by a 1- or 3-Year warranty as stated in the owner’s manual.

You can find out the warranty length on your Primary Arms Optics product by looking at the box or manual, the product’s webpage, by contacting us using the information below.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Products

If your Primary Arms Optics product is covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, you don’t have to be the first owner or even prove you bought it from us.

3-Year and 1-Year Warranty Products

If your Primary Arms Optics product is covered by a 3-year or 1-year warranty, Primary Arms Optics will use your proof of purchase to establish that your product’s warranty period has not expired. You don’t have to be the original owner. If a defect due to materials or workmanship has caused your product to malfunction, Primary Arms Optics will either repair your product or provide you with a similar product in good working order. Open box, blemished, or returned items with 1-year or 3-year warranties enjoy the same warranty protection as their new counterparts. Where repair or replacement for these products is not possible, credit will be given towards a new Primary Arms product.

Primary Arms Optics’ famous customer service stands behind our products and our customers.

Additional Warranty Details

1. What does this warranty cover?

The Primary Arms Optics warranty covers both parts and labor costs during the stated warranty period, against any manufacturer defects or malfunctions due to materials or workmanship in your Primary Arms Optics branded product. In addition, the Primary Arms Optics Limited Lifetime Warranty includes wear and tear coverage for damage to the function of the product that may occur as a result of normal usage over time.

2. What does the warranty not cover?

The warranty does not cover any product which was damaged because of misuse, abuse, neglect, carelessness, accident, alteration, or modification to the product. The warranty does not cover lost or stolen products. The warranty does not cover consequential damages (the cost of repairing or replacing other property damaged due to the malfunction of a Primary Arms Optics product).

3. Who is covered?

3-year and 1-year warranties are fully transferable from person to person as long as you have a proof of purchase establishing when the warranty coverage period began. A proof of purchase is not required for any product that is covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty; if you own that product, the Limited Lifetime warranty applies to you.

4. Which Geographic Areas Are Covered?

The warranty covers authorized sales anywhere in the United States of America. If your product purchased inside the USA malfunctions outside the country, you must return it to the USA before Primary Arms Optics can service your warranty claim. If your product was purchased outside the USA, any potential warranty claims must be handled by the authorized dealer selling the product in the country where the product was purchased.

5. What is the Period of Coverage?

You can refer to your product’s box or user manual, the product’s webpage, and the Primary Arms Optics Product Warranty List below to find out how long your warranty coverage lasts.

If purchased after December 31, 2020, our Limited Lifetime Warranty applies regardless of the term stated in the product’s user manual.  In designated European Union countries, the maximum warranty is Ten Years.  See your local dealer or distributor for details, outside of the U.S.

6. What Will We Do to Correct Problems?

Warranty coverage for Primary Arms Optics products will be determined solely by Primary Arms Optics, and not by any third party representative, distributor or dealer of Primary Arms Optics products. Once Primary Arms Optics has determined that warranty coverage applies and the warranty period remains in effect, Primary Arms Optics will fulfill our sole warranty obligation; choosing to either repair your defective product, or replace it with a same or similar product in good mechanical working order, at our option.

7. What Will We Not Do?

Primary Arms Optics will not modify our products to fit applications other than originally advertised. Primary Arms Optics will not re-paint, dip or coat, nor pay or reimburse for color changes to products that have been cosmetically altered prior to warranty service.

8. How Do You Get Warranty Service?

  • You can contact Primary Arms Optics Customer Service directly with any of the following options:

9. How Does State Law Relate to This Warranty?

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusion of consequential damages, so those limitations may not apply to you. The Primary Arms warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
